LEGO Razor Crest Rumours
Get Ready For A Gigantic-Scale Razor Crest LEGO Set This Winter
Get Ready For A Gigantic-Scale Razor Crest LEGO Set This Autumn
Rumours are circulating across the galaxy that we will soon see the release of a LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector’s Series Razor Crest. While LEGO has not officially confirmed anything yet, messages from the netherworld of the Force whisper that the brick-built set will be available from 3rd October, making it likely to be a popular Christmas purchase this year.
Fan favourite bounty hunter Din Djarin pilots one of the most epic starships of the Star Wars Disney+ era. Collectors will relish the chance to own a more extensive and detailed model than the Razor Crest (Bounty Hunter) 75292 released in 2020.
Will LEGO Release an Ultimate Collector Series Razor Crest?
The UCS Razor Crest was teased at this year’s LEGO Con, with two LEGO Star Wars design team members wearing matching Razor Crest t-shirts. Rumours in the cantina say that the model of the Mandalorian’s iconic starfighter will see an October release with set number 75331. Pricewise, it is rumoured to cost £459.00 – although that may change when we see a release.
Other leaks confirm that the model will be presented at a scale of 1:40 (approx.) with an asteroid field amount of LEGO bricks included – 6,187 pieces – making this the biggest Star Wars LEGO set of the year. A now-deleted Instagram post from LEGO leaker ‘lego_fulcrum’ also gave us a glimpse at the sticker sheet, which humorously includes a sticker designating ‘child on board’ in the fictional Star Wars language, Aurebesh, complete with a silhouette of Grogu’s head.
A standard edition of The Razor Crest (75292) is still available for LEGO enthusiasts online for £119.99. While not as big, it does offer LEGO fans a more affordable option. It also includes plenty of authentic details and 5 minifigures from the hit Disney+ show Star Wars: The Mandalorian; Greef Karga, an Imperial Scout Trooper, The Child (Grogu), droid IG-11 – and The Mandalorian himself, seen below taking a well-deserved rest from collecting bounties.
What Will the New UCS Razor Crest Model Include?
A larger-scale creative display model provides LEGO with a perfect chance to include far more of the Razor Crest’s interiors. We hope to see an expanded cargo hold first on the list, including more of the carbonite chamber with frozen bounty victims.
LEGO also have the opportunity to include more external details, such as the large twin engines and laser-scarred shell. It would also be exciting to see some new minifigures added, such as Cara Dune and Kuiil riding a trusty Blurrg. Could we also see some villains such as Moff Gideon included?
