LEGO 40728 Brite Bomber

We are so stoked to have this video game model in our loot chest and we're about to settle down with a can of Slap Juice and get building.

Read on for our full build review of this epic GWP set - LEGO 40728 Fortnite Brite Bomber.

BRITE-N UP YOUR DISPLAY

LEGO 40728 instructions

On opening the box for LEGO 40728 Brite Bomber, we have:

  • 3 x small bags
  • 1 instruction manual
  • 1 loose 6x6 black base plate

There are 46 steps to complete the build of Brite Bomber herself and two steps to create the base on which she stands.

LEGO 40728 torso

As with most LEGO BrickHeadz, we start by creating the torso. This comprises of dark blue, dark pink, white, and the awesome printed pink 1x4 brick. Next, we add the arms/hands. These are formed the same way as most LEGO BrickHeadz: one 2x2 plate, a modified 1x2 plate with a clip, and a 1x2 tile.

LEGO 40728 head steps

The head is created next, including the pink 2x2 brick for the brain. After encasing the brain, the face tiles, the nougat-coloured plate with eyes, and Brite Bomber’s fringe are added.

LEGO 40728 face and hair build steps

The curved tile and two-quarter pieces create an excellent hair aesthetic.

LEGO 40728 side build steps

Once the fringe and forehead are added to the model, we coiffure the sides of Brite Bomber’s hair.

LEGO 40728 hair and sunglasses build steps

Once the sides are complete, the top of the hairstyle is built up, and the clips are added to hold the lens of the ginormous sunglasses.

LEGO 40728 feet and ponytail build steps

LEGO 40728 Brite Bomber has legs/feet attached next and her rear sitting ponytail is also added.

LEGO 40728 glasses build steps

Lastly, we create the iconic sunglasses. These are made using two circular shield pieces and two circular lilac 2x2 tiles. The two pieces clip together, and then the shield handles are attached to the clips on Brite Bomber’s head. This allows for a little bit of tilting so you can get the angle that is just right for her shades.

LEGO 40728 completed

LEGO 40728 is now complete, as we added the pickaxe earlier (we just forgot to tell you!). The base is a simple structure of only four pieces.

FINAL FORTNITE THOUGHT

We conclude that LEGO 40728 Brite Bomber is a fantastic little build for gamers and is going to look fabulous either in your:

  • Gaming display
  • Fortnite display
  • BrickHeadz display

Wherever you decide to display this Fortnite figure, it will brighten up the room and bring a little colour to your display. This is one not to be missed. Quickly land in the drop zone at the official LEGO website and start buying now before the offer expires on October 3rd, 2024.

We hope that LEGO will continue releasing more LEGO Fortnite BrickHeadz. Who would you like to see released? We think Beef Boss and Peely are musts.
