Battling Bricks - See The Recently Announced LEGO Fortnite Sets

The newest gaming franchise to be bricked is Fortnite and as of 7^th December 2023, we have been able to play LEGO Fortnite (and it rocks). This is the first digital play experience that has been created from the long-term partnership between The LEGO Group and Epic. Now, LEGO has announced four LEGO Fortnite sets which we are extremely excited for. The sets are available to preorder on the official LEGO website and will ship from the 1^st October 2024.

LEGO 77072 Peely Bone - £89.99

Perhaps one of the most iconic characters from Fortnite has been made into a brick-built figure. Hurrah! This 1,414-piece build reminds us of Mighty Jaxx figures, but that’s another blog.

LEGO 77072 Peely Bone is, well, half banana and half skeleton (first seen in Fortnite in Season 1, Chapter 2); his right-hand side is open to the elements, intestines and all. The model has articulated wrists and arms, which enable him to pose while holding his accessories in action stances. Peely Bone’s accessories include:

• Peely Pick Pickaxe
• Paint Launcher
• Banana Bling Bag

LEGO 77072 also includes a display stand and name plate so that the world’s most famous banana can be displayed in style.

LEGO 77073 Battle Bus - £89.99

The Battle Bus in the game hasn’t changed much since Fortnite began in 2017, and LEGO 77073 uses 954 LEGO pieces to make a fantastic replica of the bus and balloon. The Battle Bus features moving wheels, and the roof is removable so that the included nine LEGO Minifigures can be transported inside, ready to be deployed. The attached hot air balloon is instantly recognisable by its colouring, which is true of the game.

As previously mentioned, there are nine LEGO Minifigures included with the LEGO 77073 Battle Bus, which are:

• Adventure Peely
• Battalion Brawler
• Brite Bomber
• Cube Assassin
• Cuddle Team Leader
• Drift
• Meowscles
• Raven
• Trespasser Elite

Multiple accessories are also included so that your minifigures are armed and juiced up, ready for action. The accessories are Slurp Juice, a Grappler, Slap Juice, and pickaxes.

LEGO 77070 Durrr Burger - £12.99

This 193-piece build is based on the iconic restaurant from within the game. It is just a large-scale version of Beef Boss’s head. The bulging eyes, flapping tongue and olive on a stick are his trademark aesthetics, and this head has them all.

LEGO 77070 would make a nice desk ornament or paperweight, maybe? Or, we did think if one was to create a MOC of the restaurant or Beef Boss’s van then the head would sit nicely on top of either.

LEGO 77071 Supply Llama - £34.99

This well-known blue and purple Camelidae has got bricked, and we think he looks fantastic. LEGO 77071 has implemented some great techniques with the pieces to create the Supply Llama’s fur, and he has an articulated head with an opening mouth.

The 691 pieces not only create the Supply Llama but his saddle and all his goodies; no Supply Llama would be complete without his goodies. This Llama brings us:

• Lucky Charm

LEGO 77071 Supply Llama is an awesome gaming display piece, and we think it would look quite lovely next to the LEGO 40644 Pinata.
